Brand identity

Brand identity design for your business

A brand identity is the system people recognise you by: the mark, the colours, the type and the rules that hold them together. We design it from your positioning outwards, so it looks like what you actually are.

Included

Exovio designs logos, visual systems, typography and brand guidelines for businesses in Nagpur and worldwide. A brand identity project typically takes 2–3 weeks; the brief defines the applications and final assets.

Every identity starts with what the business stands for and who it is for. From there we explore directions, refine one with you, and hand it over as a working system with guidelines your team and your suppliers can follow, not a logo file and good luck.

  1. 01

    Logo and mark

A primary logo, a symbol and small-size versions, drawn so the mark stays clear everywhere it has to work, from a browser tab and a profile picture to signage and print.

  2. 02

    Visual system

The colour palette, graphic elements and imagery direction that make the brand recognisable even where the logo is not on the page, with clear rules for using each of them.

  3. 03

    Typography

Typefaces chosen for your voice and licensed for the places you need them, with a hierarchy and pairing rules for headlines, body text and everything in between.

  4. 04

    Brand guidelines

One document your team, printers and future designers work from: how to use the mark, the colours, the type and the imagery, so the brand stays consistent without us in the room.

Process

  1. 01

    Discovery

    Brief & scope

Every project starts with what the business stands for and who it is for: your market, your audience and how people find you today.

  2. 02

    Strategy

    Agreed direction

Then we set the positioning and messaging the work is built on, and write it down, so every page and post after it has something to answer to.

  3. 03

    Execution

    Service-specific

We refine a direction, then design and build within the agreed total schedule: typically 2–3 weeks for identity, 4–8 for a website or 6–12 for both. Content and feedback affect timing.

  4. 04

    Launch & iterate

    Handover & support

We launch and hand over the agreed assets, accounts and documentation. Ongoing maintenance, updates and support are scoped separately, so ownership and recurring costs are clear.

Planning and pricing

  1. 01

    Bring the current identity

Share the logo files, current guidelines and a few examples of how the brand appears today. Tell us what needs to change and what must remain recognisable, including the smallest or most demanding applications.

  2. 02

    Define the applications

A website, a garment label and a printed pack each impose different constraints. List the uses needed at launch so we can agree the mark versions, colour rules, type licences and guideline detail before quoting.

  3. 03

    Agree the handover

The scope should name the final assets, file formats and examples your team needs to use the identity. Packaging production, print proofs and legal clearance need explicit responsibility rather than an assumption that they are included.

Questions

  1. 01

What is included in brand identity?

Brand identity at Exovio includes the logo and mark, the visual system, typography and brand guidelines: everything your brand needs to look like itself, wherever it appears.

  2. 02

How long does brand identity take?

A focused brand identity typically takes 2–3 weeks in total; a brand and website together typically take 6–12 weeks. Scope, content readiness and feedback affect the agreed schedule.

  3. 03

    Do you only design logos?

No. A logo is one part of an identity. We deliver the whole system around it, from colour and typography to the guidelines, so the brand looks the same everywhere it appears.

  4. 04

Can you design the brand and the website together?

Yes. A brand and website together typically take 6–12 weeks, subject to scope and timely content and feedback. The same small team designs both, so the identity is made with the website in mind from the start.

  5. 05

What changes the cost of a brand identity project?

The quote depends on whether you need a new mark or a complete identity, the number of applications, the state of your positioning and the required guidelines. We scope those decisions with you before quoting.

  6. 06

    How do international projects work?

Our studio is based in Nagpur, India (IST, UTC+5:30), and works remotely worldwide. We agree the scope, quote currency, content responsibilities, feedback dates and handover before work begins. Meeting times are arranged around the time zones involved.
